Yup my favorite of theirs too! Flea playing bass on it all the way through and John Fruciante playing guitar on every track too are like icing on the best cake ever.

Man I'm so glad somebody else knows about Peter Green's time in Fleetwood Mac. I started my last band trying to capture the energy of Led Zeppelin and Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.

Check out the Boston Tea Party shows if you don't already have them. On Amazon they are pretty cheap and have all been remastered.

I love Cream and Jimi (obviously avatar) and all them great blues cats. Mountain, Grand Funk Railroad, Santana, Humble Pie, and all that.

Peter Green´s Fleetwood Mac were absolutely IT, at that time.

Amazing stuff that doesn´t age, and it´s clear Jimmy Page was high on them.

Yup you can hear the influence especially in the first two Zep Albums.

I watched a great documentary a while back called 'A Man of the World' and it was the story of Peter Green and his band the Fleetwood Mac. He knew he was gonna leave them when he started the band so he figured he'd leave them something, a name. He named them after drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John 'Mac' McVie.

Check out that doc if you get a chance on YouTube, you'll like it.

their "live" albums were awesome, the studio releases could not capture the energy ...

I'm listening to Gerry Rafferty as he came up in conversation tonight. I loved him when I was 14.....not so much now.
