Also The Entrance Band recently came out with an instrumental album which was incredible

Those lean more towards jazz-fusion, so I left them off. Great tunes though, and I guess they fit in a round about way.

Not realy rock, but pushed past some rock in the charts in the day. Pretty slick grove. Hugh Masekela

Likewise this, pretty high on the charts and great guitar work. Pretty sure most people have heard this, Mid 60's.
