Also Vince Neal is a piece of shite human being. frick that guy.

Yeah, when you kill a person driving drunk and keep on drinking, that's pretty fricking horrid. I'm surprised the guy is still alive. His liver must be a chunk of concrete by now.

Hey Captain Kangaroo,

Mötley Crue sucks so bad that they’ve only sold millions and millions of records, right? The Final Tour only grossed $86 million, right? They’ve been relevant for 38 years and they’ve also influenced countless other young bands. Everybody has a right to their own opinions yours just happens to suck balls.

I'm glad I read through the entire thread. It would have sucked to have missed this melt.

My brother saw them on their farewell tour or maybe a little before and said it was awesome. About a year ago I saw people complaining about his solo tour being awful and I checked out a video and it was just as bad as the one posted. He's probably drunk but that type of music isn't built for a out of shape 58 year old to run around that stage and sing.

Obviously singers lose something as they age, but I think Sammy Hagar doesn't get the credit he deserves. Here's a video from five years ago, when Sammy was about 65 years old:

Sammy Hagar - Space Station #5 - 2014

Sammy has been peddling hard liquor for years, but he's no drunk. He's living his best life and not embarrassing himself on stage.

Sammy's a pro. Guys like Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney are still out doing gigs and are in decent shape. They're all older than Vince Neil too. Of course, they take care of themselves and their voices because there's big big money in playing arenas and football stadiums.

Not worthy of its own thread, but i ran across this interview in my feed yesterday of Sammy talking about Eddie. Holy shite how did i not know EVH got so bad off

quote:

Yeah, Eddie was rough in that era, that period, that was 2004 when he did that reunion? Eddie just had the cancer operation, just had a doctor that was tightening him up pretty good with a lot of interesting things. As far as I’m concerned, that’s when him and I, I couldn’t be around a guy like this.

quote:

I probably shouldn’t of thrown him under so far because he’ll probably never speak to me again. I would love to be friends with him because that’s all I care about in my life is not taking an enemy to my grave or them not taking me as an enemy to their grave. That means a lot to me. So, I’ve tried to reach out a few times but he’s, you know, he’s okay now. I think he’s okay physically and I know he’s not whacked out the way he was. Eddie was drinking a fricking case of Smoking Loon red wine a day out of the bottle. All his teeth were gone because he had all the radiation and he had to take all the fillings and everything out. Eddie had about four teeth hanging in there, they were black and he wore a big overcoat filled with drugs and a couple of bottles [of wine] just to walk to the hotel room to the car.

quote:

You know, he was just crazy. He was turning over tables, he was fricking kicking windshields out of every car we got in. We got in a G5 at forty-five thousand feet and he’s got a red wine bottle, empty. A rented G5 and bangin’ the frickin’ window with the bottle, blasting red wine all over the nice white suits because he was so angry that everybody was so down on him because he couldn’t play since he was so wasted all the time. It was just horrible, I just hated to see him like that and I never spoke to him since then.
