TheDoc is the heart and soul of live music in Baton Rouge. A band doesn't get booked in Baton Rouge without TheDoc giving it the okay. He's gone underground to avoid all of the publicity and hits on his head by the mob.

The only time I've ever driven to BR for a summer show was when the Flaming Lips were breaking that world record.
