Wish I could have seen them live.

I remember all the goth girls were in love with Peter Steele

They have green and blue hair today but still have the same daddy issues.

Great band, very original sound. I saw them twice. They were definitely better on record than live.

Couple of surviving members have a band called Sun Don’t Shine with Kirk from Crowbar/Down. Features members Kenny Hickey (guitar/vocals) and Johnny Kelly (drums).

I'll check them out. I'm a fan of Crowbar too. Thanks.

Would've been interesting to see what they/Peter Steele would've evolved into in later years as Steele was moving toward a sober/religious path at the end. Such a needless death over what should have been a treatable illness.

It was diverticulitis that got him, right?

That's what I recall reading. Think it was aggravated by a long history of drinking.

I'll never forget randomly hearing Unsuccessfully Coping with the Natural Beauty of Infidelity on of those Cox cable metal music channels

That song just kept going and got more unhinged and hilarious as it went along. The lyrics are something else. When it gets to the end and the band repeats what he sings it was a real LOL moment.

I know - he knows - I know - he knows

I saw them three times and every time was a treat. An absolutely great band and great live band. I still listen to them.

He full blown moved and was a born again Christian. He holds nothing back in These Three Things :metal: Epic song!
