My goodness what a terrific album. Loved it for years, but it seems this is a rare one that gets better with each listen, no matter what # spin you're on. An underrated all-time great rock/blues record.

Low-down, dirty, stank-face blues.
And that's a compliment.

My favorite rock guitar solo of all time is on “Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers”.

Waitin' for the Bus -> Jesus Just Left Chicago is one of the best opening one-two punches in all of music.

The Messicun meal on the inside cover made me want to eat the cover.

“Have you heard” and “Move me on down the line” are solid. A haw, haw, haw.

It's one where I put it on and have to listen to it all the way through. If that makes sense.

I’ve eaten there. It’s in Houston. Decent food.

It was a travesty that all I had for years was the Six Pack version with the janked up drum track. Took them way too long to right that wrong.

Makes perfect sense. ZZ Top was my dad's favorite band and this was his favorite album. Uncountable hours of my childhood were spent with this album spinning in the background.
