I can’t wait to see them in Nola. I know some don’t want to hear them play 46&2 live again, but it’s my favorite Tool song.

He was dressed as a Preacher for that show. The night before in Houston he came out in drag. This was back when he still was a frontman having fun on stage

In high school (1997) we “borrowed” my Mom’s car and drove from BR to Austin for the Aenima show. Maynard was basically nude, painted blue with fluorescent spots all over him. Melvins opened, it was the best Tool show I’ve been to. (I’ve been to 4)

ETA: I’m taking my daughter to the NOLA show!

Honestly could do without hearing sober in the setlist. Hopefully they pull out something else.

They seem to be alternating Sober and Opiate in the setlists. As well as The Patient and Right in Two.

It's a bit of a deeper dive setlist than previous all of the shows I've seen.

No: 46&2, Schism, Jambi, Lateralus, Vicarious

All of those were pretty much staples of every show since 10k Days came out.

I saw them 3 or 4 times over a span of 2-3 years and the setlists were almost identical for every show, except for maybe 1 or 2 songs. It was kinda disappointing TBH.

That’s pretty lame. It’s bad enough when artists play the same setlist at every show on the same tour, but that’s way worse.

Vegas show had Right in Two and Culling Voices, but not The Patient. Pushit was awesome. Haven’t seen that in years.

Taking my 12 year old son to see them Friday here in Colorado Springs. Will be his first concert.

I’m more excited for him than he is. He’s no idea how good these guys are live.

They haven't played Lateralis since 2018, really bad to bring that

I almost always get seats centered in the back of the arena to capture the visual of the entire production, but this show was 5th row and against better judgment, I accepted the seats through a friend. Wow, what a difference to get TOOL in your face. It was a pounding experience.

Excited to read this. Seats for New Orleans show are in the center around the 5th row.

I guess I’m just lucky, I’ve seen them 4 or 5 times since 2006 and I’ve managed to catch Opiate, Pushit, No Quarter, Lateralus, Intolerance, The Grudge, and HWAP.

Judging from the Dallas show last night, it looks like we’re getting the Sober/Right in Two setlist in Houston on Friday. I’m a little bummed that I won’t see The Patient, but Right in Two should be awesome. Nola baws will get Opiate/The Patient.

If I'm going see them in Nola Saturday, what time do you think they actually play? I know Blonde Redhead are playing before but I'm not gonna go see them. Just waiting til Tool.

It looks like they’ve been starting at 8:45 and playing until 11:00 for pretty much all dates on the tour so far.

They killed it in Dallas last night. 7th Tool show & 4th in an arena & this is their best arena show by far with the set list & visuals. Maynard was locked in. I don’t know how Danny Carey does what he does. He is unreal.
