One of the greatest of all time in any genre, and the originator of groove. Unbelievable backing bands throughout the years with heavyweights like Maceo Parker, Fred Weasley, and Clyde Stubblefield.

Yeah I've seen him before. His voice is nearly identical to Brown's (he actually started his career as a JB tribute band) but isn't nearly on the same level. Then again, no one is.

I think the soundtrack to Black Ceasar is criminally under rated. "The Boss" was included in the soundtrack to Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels but other than that I don't think many people are familiar with Black Ceasar.

I definitely can appreciate and respect what the man did for music, but I cant really put it on, listen and enjoy... although, it can be fun in the right situation...
