Different thread sparked my memory of Chan. I used to love feeling all depressed listening to it.

I should add the Colors and the Kids has a really special place in my heart. We had a miscarriage at 4 months and absolutely destroyed the both of us. It was winter and I remember it had snowed and just driving my car listening to this and not crying but crushed inside like I could never describe. It was the loss of my child plus the devastation I saw it have on the person I loved. The song somehow seemed to completely fit the emotions at the time,

She has made some fantastic music. You Are Free is a really good albunbstart to finish.

Haven’t listened to Cat Power in years. Really liked a couple of her albums, especially “What Would the Community Think?”

I was a big fan when I was younger, but just grew away from it. I do still love her cover of I Found a reason from her covers album.
