Seems like you don’t really understand how the quote and reply functions work on here. Poster you were replying to here did not state that they played a lot of shows and in fact stated that the Sex Pistols were indeed a big deal. You know, kinda what you’re saying.
Can’t figure out if you’re truly brand new and just coming in with guns blazing and no regard for how to reply or where the bullets are going or if this is an alter made to look exuberant, yet clueless and retarded at the same time. If it’s the latter, well done.

I still think it’s fascinating how Green Day came in like a meteor and annihilated so many punk bands, leaving skate punk (which would become pop punk) as the dominant genre and pave the way for bands like Good Charlotte and Blink to achieve pop radio success. It’s crazy to me considering the sounds of Simple Plan and Black Flag could not be more different.

I missed the SP, but that place had many great bands show up all the time. I mean this place was only a night club, very small. Billy Cobham’s drum kit when he played there took up the whole stage.
Another great venue was Independence Hall. My older sister saw Jimi Hendrix and Black Sabbath there, 2 separate shows
