where are you guys seeing Tips shows listed?
we try and hold off putting anything up until we see it in print (hence the M&M's show not being up yet/I don't have any info on it).
Please post stuff here if you see it.

Yeah, Slighty Stoopid is lame as frick. That dude Ian Neville will probably sit in with them. It is actually his birthday today, as well as his uncle Aaron Neville

Rumor: The Meter Men ft. Page McConnell & Trey Anastasio the first weeekend

The Republic
It is hard for me to believe this, but hell I NEVER saw Phish coming to Jazz Fest this year. After that shocker I guess anything is game.
On paper, this looks like easily the show of Jazz Fest and would sell out almost instantly. I just wonder from a music standpoint if the addition of Trey would really do anything. Page can still bring the funk, as evidenced by his tour with the Meters last year. Can Trey though? This isn't 1997. Regardless, I would make sure I'd be inside the venue and would be willing to drop a good bit of coin to make that happen.

Actually, Trey is the guy from Phish who would probably be the most worthless sit in for The Meters. Fishman could replace Zigaboo at this point ( check out this video with him discussing Cissy Strut), and seeing Gordon and GPJ duel would be awesome. Double bass heavy funk

I'd rather see trey in a superjam type format. Get medeski and anders and stanton and gpjr and some horns.
What about a duo with trey and mike show. Theyve done a few of those.
I'd really really like to see the word come down for a show.

Trey prob wouldn't add much to the show but I won't miss it.
Epic rumor tho.
