It's strange to think back on 50 years ago. I was just about to hit my teens. The world was a scary place. The cold war was in full swing; passenger planes were being hijacked to Cuba; people were being killed trying to escape Berlin; the Cuban Missile Crisis happened about a year and a half earlier; and JFK had been assassinated less than 3 months earlier. The Beatles were a breath of fresh air that parents hated for their hair.

Perfect for Annie Lennox. Fool On The Hill is one of the most underrated Beatles songs and a beautiful one.
