The Guess Who - Live at the Paramount 1970 - Great Rock album if you haven't heard it!

One of the first albums I owned. My hippieish sister gave this to me in 1971 for my birthday. If you like live rock n roll albums, this one is worth listening to all the way through.
I am linking a great version of"America Woman" and then the the whole album. Enjoy Rock as it was meant to be.
American Woman ( 16:53 live)

I am one huge Guess Who fan. Had all the lp's and a few 45's.
My favorite song is Broken.

The Best Of 8 track was the first thing I could listen to from beginning to end. One of my BILs bought it and it stayed at our house.

Just saw that Randy Bachmann and BurtCummings are doing a Guess Who/ BTO reunion tour. That would be one to see for sure

There are a handful of bands that my brother, who is 6 years older than I, had a few 8 tracks of. They were indefinably etched into my musical testes. The three bands, in particular, were CCR, The Grass Roots, and The Guess Who. My older sister, ten years my elder, contributed the Beatles. This was the late 60's/early 70's time frame.
American Woman was one of the early tracks that I loved.
On a side note, I kid people that I always thought In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida had a fade out-clunk-fade in 2/3 into it because that's how it sounded on my brothers 8-track

Where did you see that? I've read they can't use the band name "Guess Who" because Kale and Peterson own the rights to the name. Of course the could say former Guess Who band members as part of the billing.

Litigation my friend. It will happen if Bachman/ Cummings TRULY want it.
I damn sure do.

I'll definitely check them out if they come to the US.

'The Best of the Guess Who' which came out in 1971 was probably one of the first 10-20 albums I ever bought, one great song after another and even came with a vintage black light poster! Would have loved to see that line-up live!
I did see Randy Bachman with BTO in the early 70's and also saw him later in the early 90's with Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band. As a band, saw The Guess Who in the 90's, but only had Jim Kale and Garry Peterson from the classic lineup...
