Her Born to Die album is the most hauntingly mesmerizing thing I’ve ever listened to. I still listen to it on just about every road trip. And it’s not my normal kind of music. I have 10 CDs stored in my car stereo, and some of the others are Pantera, Metallica, Ozzy, etc. Lana is in that permanent rotation.

Dad, if you like her spoken word sing style, check out Leonard Cohen(if his catalog and songs like 'Thousand Kisses Deep' didn't influence her..then nothing did), and maybe Marianne Faithfull, etc..

I' m a big LDR fan, and Stereophonics fan too, they do a nice cover of Video Games

I just don't get it. Overproduced melancholy musings........... it would probably be great film background music IMO but the Fionna Apple thing has been done better before. She is easy on the eyes for sure.
