Story with setlist

He's basically telling all these younger bands to hold his dick. I hate paying for some of these bands to come out and play 15 songs and be done after an hour and a half. Bruce is 62 and playing for almost 4 hours. to the Boss

I saw that, but if it's the longest show of his ever it must be by only a minute or so, 'cause I know I saw him several times in the 80's and 90's where he played close to 4 hours. Heck, I saw him solo with only his guitars at the Saenger in N.O. and he played 3.

He is the man.

I've often wondered how much water he has to drink per day to stay hydrated while on tour.

If I had to listen to four hours of Bruce Springsteen I'd shove ice picks in both my ears....

Well, SOMEONE must like it...(like me... )--he's been doing it for 40 years or so.

By the way, who's the guitarist in your avatar, Cotton?

I saw him at RFK stadium in 1985. Played damned near 4 hours and never got called back out for the final encore for Rosalita. I was pissed that I missed that song live.

Err, no, it was a little over 2.5 hours - the longest stage time ever given to an artist at Jazz Fest. In that heat, even the hugest Boss followers had reached their limit.

Of course! Now there's someone I wish I would have seen live...too young when he died though. Derek Trucks is good consolation, though!
