Looks just like reverb lol. Will be interesting to see if it catches on.

Exactly like reverb. The asking prices are silly like on Reverb too. Good thing the have a make an offer button.

Its going to take them a while to acquire users. That being said, this seems like a good deal. DS-1

Interesting.

My dealings with Sweetwater have always been firstrate. They have had excellent customer service with every purchase I’ve made.

I wonder if they have their own team handling their marketplace, or are they outsourcing to some E-tail fifm like Etsy, which I believe handles Reverb’s site.

I'm a Sweetwater fan, so this is definitely up my alley. Being in Indiana, it's almost always just 2 days for me to order an instrument and receive it in Kentucky. Their customer service is first class.

They're almost too good. Like dude stop calling me...the $3 thumbpick I got from you is fine.

They're saying no listing fees through October. Anyone found out how much the fees will be? I can't find it on their site.

Seems to me it's a way they can take used gear as trades towards new stuff and have an avenue to move it without B&M storefronts. Also a potential marketplace to present overstocks, returns, ding and dents, factory reconditions in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get format.

Sweetwater's customer service, particularly their return policy, is second to none. I love working with them.

What's going to separate them from the Facebook Marketplaces, eBays, Amazons, Guitar Centers, Craigslists, etc. of the world already doing this?

With musicians I believe Sweetwater already has an excellent reputation whereas all of those that you listed, outside of GC, are questionable. Now if you compare them with Reverb or Musicians Friend, they are likely comparable.

Really their name and rep would get people in over other options. Only reason I wouldn’t sell there is because I belong to a world class internet community that is great for buying and selling. When I have had to buy on reverb, I have had good experiences. Marketplace and Craigslist are full of scammers and not worth it. Guitar Center used equipment always looks pretty sketch to me so I have stayed away.

I couldn't find it either.
Looks like for the free listing, you have to take your money on their store card.
I was thinking about listing my Takamine N-10.
