Style of Music Help - Recommendations

I'm looking for some newer recommendations for a particular style of music. I'm looking for that 70's California, "Laurel Canyon" style of rock (think of America's Ventura Highway, The Eagles, etc). It typically has some country, Spanish, breezy sounds if that makes any sense whatsoever.
I've found one artist, Jonathon Wilson, who currently plays that style of music: See: LINK or LINK.
Can anyone point me to some similar styles of music?

Jackson Browne? Poco? Maybe Flying Burrito Brothers?

Can you clarify what you want? You want us to recommend a similar style of music? Or do you want us to recommend some bands similar to the ones you brought up. Are you looking for newer artists or lesser known artists from that era that fits that style...or both?

First couple of Dawes albums were intentionally Laurel Canyon-sounding.
Last few albums...less so

Newer artists would be preferred - like Jonathon Wilson - the music I linked. However, any lesser known band from that era would be appreciated as well.

Truth and Salvage Company. Bunch of guys from the Carolinas and Louisiana but based out of that area in California. All of them sing, great harmonies, just easy listening country rock. They released two albums and are on hiatus at the moment.

Would either of these songs fit the bill? Either way, they are damn strong tracks.

Yeah, War on Drugs and Dawes (early albums) should fit into what he's looking for.
I'd also recommend Drugdealer. They've only put out 1 album and their new song, Honey, is great.

Ah that is a great list.
Should we throw in Father John Misty?
