Oh no I do like Disco Biscuits. Put on a really, really fun show.

And I don't know how big of a fanbase they have, but Lettuce is one of the best live shows playing right now. I catch them whenever possible.

never heard this one, i like it. allen aucoin is a fricking machine on the drums. download the 4/20/2009 set from washington dc and you'll be hooked for life. the digital buddha > Cyclones > digital buddha they played in boulder last month was exceptional. Lunar pursuit and Humahumanukunakuapuna as well, an all time favorite of mine.

its large but concentrated on the east coast and colorado primarily. not much interest for it in the south at all. Lettuce is incredible. They've been coming to new orleans a lot lately.

Ya, the Royal Family Ball is one of the best events every year during Jazz Fest.

This year all four bands killed it, each was better than the last. I had never seen the first band, London Souls, before but they were great and had a phenomenal guitar player. Didn't use a ton of pedals or anything just got up and shredded.

Nigel Hall band with that girl singer who was with Haynes Band last year. I forget how to spell her name was great too. And of course soulive with a Warren Haynes sit in, and then Lettuce.

He's no Barber that's for sure...

I mean did you hear that time Barber went DEEDILY DEEDILY DEEDILY over and over again for 15 minutes

That's a good one.

Check out their 2007/10/23 Legend's, Boone, NC set.

One of my favorite with their new drummer.

trey isn't a good guitar player. I'm not trying to compar him to barber, but other jam band guitarists in general. They play all of their songs the exact same way now and dont jam for over 10 minutes except maybe once per set. The rest of phish is on a different level than trey.

Yep. I really like their super funk group with Dumpstaphunk members called Dr Klaw. It is Krasno,Hall,Deitich plus Nick Daniels and my boy Ian Neville.

They only play at Jazz Fest, Jam Cruise, and Bear Creek.

Ha! Yep and I am sure all the current jam band guitarists agree on that!

He's not Trey circa 1995 anymore, but he's not a bad guitar player.

Is a ridiculous statement.

He's not like amazing or anything, but he's not bad.
