Not saying there not talented at all. Just saying Scott is more known to the common music fan and can be successfull without them.
He is more known, but they are more talented musicians. They'll survive without him.

There are many, many better singers out there. I'm sure someone is looking for a job. Maybe they can find one that isn't a total frick up like Scott

quote:Next to Them Crooked Vultures, one of my favorite side bands ever. I really wish they'd get together and put out a new album. That band highlighted every single member's songwriting abilities. And dare I say, much better than anything STP has put out since Purple. And I know that's a bold statment, but I'll put my name on it.
Anyone remember Army of Anyone?
In my mind, STP died the first time Weiland was kicked out. I've seen them twice - in 1993 at State Palace, and 2000 at Voodoo Festival. They weren't even the same band the 2nd time. That's how far off the path Weiland has gone.

He IS the band
He is an integral part of the band, but Robbie and Dean are the heart of the band.
Saw them at the horseshoe club in S'port in 2010 and they rocked hard.

Those guys are stupid. They have more than enough hits to tour every couple of years as STP, play the hits, make money, and go home.

Because they don't feel like cleaning up the wreckage of a tour behind a useless junkie?

They've put up with it this long.

Easy for you to say. Imagine the pressure of having to depend on a junkie to show up and be coherent enough to sing an hour and a half long set every night.
I can only imagine the frustration those other guys are going through on tour with that dude.

And do you think that a selfish junkie is dealing with the pissed off concert promoters? No, I'm sure he leaves that to the adults.

I was thinking more along the lines of the other guys being embarrassed by Weiland and not so much the promoter angle.
