Ah, a big belly full of oysters in near-100 degree heat. What could go wrong?

I wonder if the band knows that they will be playing outside in such conditions. Weird that they go on so early, when a couple of hours later would make a huge difference. But, I'm guessing lights are an issue.

Observations:

1. The Spin Doctors sounded excellent.
2. The festival bigly dropped the ball on beer. Ran out in one location early in the afternoon; ran out in the other location before the main event even started playing.
3. It's an oyster festival. How poorly was it planned that they ran out of oysters?
4. It was pretty much as populated as the Live After Five things but they had only about 4 or 5 portacans available.
5. The businesses in the immediate area were grossly understaffed for knowing that the fest would end early in the evening and lots of people would stick around to party afterward. Every place with a bar was slammed and it was a super long wait to get anything.

I chalk it up to first year kinks but the people who ran this run blues fest so idk how they dropped the ball so badly. festival needs to be moved up to late may or something as well. it was ridiculously hot

Yep. No beer but I did get a margarita at Lava Cantina. The Spin Doctors sounded great and the crowd was pretty much into it. I will go again next year but them running out of beer is a huge NO NO. Not smart. They didn't plan well.
