What are some songs that make you think of a particular town or region? They don't necessarily
need to contain the name of the city.
Eric Clapton - Sweet Home Chicago Obviously makes me think of Chicago
Bananarama - Cruel Summer Not sure, but it makes me think of a sunny day in southern California.
Galactic - Heart of Steel Makes me think of New Orleans

KoL's whole "Aha Shake Heartbreak" album makes me think of Austin, TX but that's mostly because I listened to it while in the city for a visit.

Railroad Earth - Been Down This Road
I can't pinpoint a particular town, but it makes me think of being out in the country (somewhere around the Shenandoah Valley or upper New England states like Vermont or New Hampshire) with the windows rolled down, crisp outside from the fall weather and the trees are red, orange and yellow.
Animals - House of the Rising Sun
French Quarter
Washed Out - Feel It All Around
No, not Portland. Somewhere on the beach along PCH. Malibu or Santa Barbra.
