Anything other than "Semi Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind for the 90's is invalid. That song epitomized the 90's for me and any other 90's kid I know.

For the 80's, I wanna say "Take Me Home Tonight"

The 2000's, probably "Hey Ya"

90s -- doesn't it have to be Smells Like Teen Spirit?

I can't think of a better answer.

Sublime - What I got
Spacehog - In the meantime

I'm trying.

00's are just aptly named. A bunch of nothing.
Except maybe for Linkin Park.

Linkin Park are utterly forgettable.

Yes, please. Probably not a good pick for this, but a great, underrated tune. I may have to go dig up my copy of Resident Alien tonight.

I'll leave this here:

The Tender Trio (Royston Langdon of Spacehog, Rogers Stevens of Blind Melon, and Rene Lopez)

Though it was released in the late 90s, and I really never liked it, the New Radical's "You only get what you give." Every time I hear it on the radio, I can't help think of the late 90s/early 2000s.

Having graduated highschool in the 90's and college in the 90's I think Offspring's "Self Esteem" defines the 90's
