What are some of your favorite songs about Louisiana by singers or bands that are not from the state?
Here’s some of my favorites:
John Oates - Lose It In Louisiana
Parachute - New Orleans
Dierks Bentley - Mardi Gras
The last one does have Trombone Shorty, but he’s not the lead singer of the song so ..... count it for threeeee.

I think this was the closest an outsider came to capturing the classic New Orleans sound/vibe
Gary U.S. Bonds - "New Orleans"

Does anybody remember the classic Man Show record commercial parody, offering 2 LPs or cassettes of classic hard rock tunes from the '70s ("Because life is too short not to live in the past!")
A few of the tracks:
"Ramblin'
"Cajun Queen"
"Ramblin' Cajun Queen"
"Ramblin' Cajun Queen from New Orleans"
