Tonight at the House of Blues. After the past week, I can use some of what they will offer.

SD is basically "Mike Ness and Friends." He did a solo project as Mike Ness, but I'm not sure how that was any different than his other albums except it was more country oriented.

Anyone make it to the show and wanna give a review?

I was there. It was a large crowd for the HOB. The opening act, Jade Jackson, was killer. She sounded and played great. Need to check her out more.

The set list was good. Having seen them a few times in the past I thought Ness' guitar playing was very good. I don't think he is great player but he held his own at this show. That said the sound quality was meh. When he said stuff in between songs it was unintelligible. He got up on a political soapbox hating on Trump and when the crowd didn't have the response expected I think he was shocked. Added that he genuinely hates Trump and he is a racist. There were about 2 black people there that didn't work for the HOB so he isn't exactly catering to a diverse crowd.

Overall it was a good show. Glad to have seen them again.

Meh? It was terrible. If you didn't know the lyrics, you couldn't understand what was said. Muffled.

Yep. Maybe 10 people cheered approvingly. A few women near me were telling each other they wished he would shut the hell up.
