They don’t usually give them to baws who drink themselves to death

That’s so fricked. Shouldn’t audit people’s lives for medical care.

Not true. Alcoholics can get on a transplant list for a new liver if they can stay sober for at least 6 months. Considering there is a massive shortage of organs it makes sense organs go to those that will have the best outcomes and make lifestyle changes to ensure that.

While true Alcoholics can get on the list, livers typically go to younger patients. Even then, I’ve heard lots of horror stories of folks getting one and their body eventually rejecting the new liver and having to go back on the transplant list.

But I also think he had other medical issues as well. I think in 2014 he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy (aLao probably due to drinking) and something else with his brain. And at 56, with those issues, he probably wasn’t going to get a liver any time soon. Hell, he may not have even wanted it. I think he had a 6 month old die to cancer and that probably fricked him up and caused the heavy drinking. Can’t say I blame him. I’d be ready to go too.

that’s what I was referring to. Sure you can get one but you are way down the list so it’s pretty unlikely

When you destroy your own liver with chemicals for the seeking of hedonistic pleasures, you don't deserve to get a rare and valuable one from someone else so that you can proceed to destroy that one too. There are too many people out there in need of these organs, so you absolutely have to audit for this particular form of medical care. It's not as if they are growing 110s of livers in labs on a daily basis. Your stance is ridiculous.

Have a friend who’s a producer and he worked with them for a little while. Said Harwell would walk in with an 8 ball and a half gallon of Jack everyday. Chug half the bottle and do a couple of lines and then start recording.
