I'd love their music SOOO much more if they had a better singer. Something about Araya's voice irks me.

I'm sure Kerry's next project will just be Slayer with a different singer. I like Tom's voice on the albums but I always had trouble hearing him live.

Respectfully disagree. His voice with their music is a fantastic match. IMO.

Araya was perfect for that band. Can't imagine anyone else sounding so wicked on RIB or SOH.

frick I hate that we have to use past tense now. Ugh!! So damn happy I at least finally got to see them in Indy two years ago.
Still hoping by some fate I’m able to catch one of their remaining shows. Had a ticket lined up for Orlando but got deployed to Wisconsin for work before it happened.

Bad timing on my part
Saw Metallica last year and it stoked my fire for thrash metal and got really into Slayer
They played two shows in Dallas last month and tickets were nuts. Oh well
