I got into them big time and now my 12 yr old son loves them.
They are supposed to be a Christian rock band....but they just rock to me.

I am just glad someone else knows them.
Everyone I talk to .....they say they have no clue. But their songs are all over modern rock radio.

Yeah, they're Christians. They've been around for a long, long time. My favorite album is still "Hey You I Love Your Soul", but I don't listen to the new stuff.

I always call them Skillet Monster now. After that song came out my Radio would always scroll the artist name and song title I guess. I don't know, it just cracked me up, but I'm semi retarded.

I'm not saying I dislike them....but they do have a few songs that sound like Evanescence.
I think the girl singer is probably better the Amy Lee, though....so, I'll give them a thumbs up on that.

I saw them in Shreveport in March....that whole little "Jesus" crowd turned into a bunch of rockers when Skillet came on.
Like they had to tell their parents they were going to a Christian show.......just so they could rock out!

I went to my first Skillet concert in 1999 (seriously) and probably saw them 10 times while I was in high school, haven't listened to them much in the last 4 or 5 years though.
