My redneck friend from Bogalusa loved Shooter before the RHCP at Voodoo 06. He was in white trash heaven.

Sounds like a good plan. My alternative is to sit at home (actually sit in the guest BR of my son's house)and watch tv OR .. a few cold beers and no expectations on a Tuesday night.

I actually really like his voice, but I gravitate towards raspy, amateur sound. I don't care for most of his songs, because I don't care for the style, but he's got a few I enjoy.
His scene in Walk the Line was a cool cameo.
