Mick, Charlie, Bill, Brian & a mentally challenged boy who performed with the band as a form of therapy

Charlie was the heart, but if Steve Jordan is pitting in, he’s a helluva drummer.

He's ok. I met him after a show in Chicago. Nice guy.

Taylor and Keith played completely different parts. Richards was/is primarily an
extremely innovative and forceful
rhythm player and songwriter who occasionally takes a lead break…
Taylor was more of a technician.

With Taylor’s departure didn’t Keith assume lead (which is why I reference him learning from Taylor) and Ronnie taking over rhythm? I don’t notice Ronnie playing alot of lead.

Keith played most of the early leads with Brian. With Mick Taylor he still played some leads, but the majority went to Taylor. With Ronnie they call it "intertwined". They both play leads, rhythm and fills.
Arthritis has really hampered him over the past 15 years or so.

In remembrance on this sad day I present you with this take on Lady Jane with Brian on the dulcimer.
Is that Charlie on the xylophone?

Ronnie started to play more of a lead roll in the late 80s and 90s, but he and Keith sort of shared it. Voodoo Lounge has Wood taking more of a lead role. Wood has always understood his role and place.
