Sad Day for Mars Volta fans Ikey Owens found dead in Mexico

Ikey Owens was the keyboardist of the Mars Volta and a friend of mine. He was also touring with Jack White after playing on his last two records. We weren't super close but he was a damn good guy and very funny. And he was very humble and down to earth.
My prayers are with his friends, family, and former bandmates.

I'm a huge Jack fan I am so glad I got to see Ikey perform recently in New Orleans and Atlanta. He will be missed.

This sucks. He was so much fun to watch with TMV. I'd never seen a keyboardist play like he did.
