I’d rather a huge act like that on a Thursday than on any other day with several other huge acts. This years attendance is going to be retarded I have a feeling..

they're opening up FIRST thursday this year as "locals thursday", with discount for a valid LA drivers license.

Um, because the rolling stones charge crazyass prices at their shows. Look up tickets from their last tour. Their might not be any seat available for $150.

Dont get me wrong, i think its nuts and would never pay that, but apparently old people feel differently.

And, Brass Passes will not cover that day. Supposed to also be a smaller cap on the number of tickets that are available. Also looks like Santana will be one of the featured artists in 2019, as well as Bob Seger.

Saw them in Dallas a few years back, I think it was around $150. I might go to Houston to see them instead of JF depending on the cost.

Rolling Stones are confirmed. The Southern plays are Jacksonville, NOLA and Houston.

They will be playing second Thursday. They will only be selling 50,000 tickets (instead of usual 90,000) that day or however many people they think can fit in front of Acura Stage. It will be a normal day until 5pm then all other stages will go dark except for Acura. Stones will play 5pm -7pm.

Only other bands I know playing are DMB and Kamasi Washington

This was known a few weeks ago, it’s the main reason they added first Thursday so they could continue the locals discount. I’ll be there both weeks.

Will definitely be more than 50,000..

as far as the $150, you'll definitely be to get under face value for the Houston April 28 show if that price is a deal breaker

Word around Jazz Fest board meeting last week was around $200 but Quint tries to keep things under wraps from them as well.

Was that Steel Wheels? If so, I had an entirely different experience.

NM... that was ‘89. Show was incredible.
