8/10 lovely song. His singing style reminds me of Lou Reed. I've never heard of this guy, but I will look into him more. Great post!

3/10 - Willfully admitted, I'm not the best one to judge that song. I just do not enjoy rap music.

5/10 I have always disliked Buffet, but this one isn't too bad. It has more of a country feel than the annoying (to me) island style of his other songs.

I've never heard of the Sisters of Mercy. I think the fake video really killed it for me. But I'd be willing to listen to more of their stuff to see what they're all about.

6/10

Was gonna give it a 5, but I bumped it up for the drummer's hilarious array of sex faces. Parts of the song just kind of devolved a bit and ended up sounding like a practice room jam.

6/10 very good song that could easily grow on me into a much higher rating. Reminds me of some late 90's bands.

6.5

I went through a Buffett phased that lasted too long and kind of soured me on him. I would have rated this higher way back in the day.

I'm definitely not an Awolnation fan but this song was pretty good. Certainly sounds like something I'd expect from an indie band in the mid 00's as opposed to the heavier sounds of the other stuff of theirs I've heard. Harmonies? Poppish melody? Not what I expected.

I was ready to give this song a solid 9, but then they started singing and I didn't like it as much. The instrumental part was groovy af, though.

4 (you linked the wrong one but I searched for it) My daughter would enjoy it for sure, but not really up my alley. And I do enjoy the call Me Maybe song as well, but this one didn’t seem to be as catchy although I could see where she was at least trying to go with it.

6 - Solid song, just not my bag and the singer's voice is kind of thin for the style.
