The Open Door EP ftw
I haven't listened to them in years. I'll go back and listen to their LPs and rank them, but I remember thinking The Open Door EP kicked the shite out of Narrow Stairs and that Gibbard was dumb for not putting most of those songs on the LP

There were some songs on Narrow Stairs I enjoyed, but like I said, the songs on The Open Door EP were better.

Slight tangent, but Bixby Canyon Bridge is a song that rarely receives mad props, so I'm gonna give it mad props right here. Possibly my second fav DCFC track.

most people have had similar lists to mine. he came in with an upside down list and proclaimed it "the correct list"

I personally think they matured greatly musically with Trans & then "peaked" with Plans...it's a brilliant record..
I think their earlier stuff is a little more raw and simple. That doesn't necessarily make it bad, I just don't think it's up to par with Trans & Plans.
The only fact is that DCFC is a great band and I'm not gonna try and argue with anyone's list of favs.

Plans and Transatlanticism were my high school jams. Postal Service as well. I have The Photo Album, You Can Play These Songs With Chords, and We Have the Facts and Are Voting Yes but could only tell you a couple of songs from each album.
Overall, Plans, Trans, The Photo Album are my top three.
