How do y'all like their new single on iTunes? I bought it but think it's possibly their worst song ever.

I like it. It's different than his usual stuff, but that's okay.
Seeing RRB with Turnpike Troubadours tonight . My 2 faves, can't wait.

Sounds a little more commercialized. Hard to top his older stuff. Hope he's not going the Pat Green route and selling out.

I've heard several songs from the new album and most of them aren't Nashville.

That's good to hear then. When does the album come out?

Great question
Randy's pretty tight-lipped about it.

I wonder why? I remember seeing them right after the Rollercoaster came out at the Hanger in New Orleans. There was probably 20 to 30 people there. They've come a long way from then.

RR was interviewed by a local Austin radio station (KVET) a few days ago and they hinted toward it being released in early 2013, but they didn't say anything specific.
I love RRB, but cant stand the new song fwiw.

Yeah, we can't get him to tell us either.
"Speak of the Devil" is a great song. " Flash Flood" is good, too.

I actually don't! I have some backstage pictures of Turnpike and Randy from tonight, though, that I'll post when I get home.

Turnpike Troubadours:
Randy Rogers:
There were over 6,000 people there...the most tickets sold in the history of this venue. They had to turn away 700+ at the door. Incredible show.
Then we decided whiskey and roman candles were a fun combination. We hit my friend's car and almost burned down the VIP area. Lesson learned.
Fun Fact: Evan Felker (TT) is a HUGE Les Miles fan :)

It was a pretty amazing night.
I've seen Randy about 98797 times, but this was only my 3rd TT show. They are my two favorite bands (as well as great friends) so to get the opportunity to stand on the side of the stage and watch them play to 6000 screaming, adoring fans was an incredible experience. It was really fun to have a chance to actually hang out, talk, drink and blow shite up with the Turnpike boys, too.
Just a really special evening.

Really, the whole D&G album is excellent. The new one's not as great from start to finish but it's still good, with a couple of standouts.
