supposedly they're working on it.. so Im gonna say mid 2016.

I will go with 2015. I have heard they are working on it.
I hope they do a tour. Tool at red rocks would be awesome, although when I tried to go in 06 or so, it sold out in minutes.

Probably a good sign that they are starting to tour a bit.

I recently read an interview with James Iha that he has plans in the middle of the summer to play with A Perfect Circle. Not sure what that means (live or studio). With Tool touring this spring and if Maynard will be with APC during the summer, it doesn't leave much time for him to lay down the vocal tracks for the new Tool album if it is to be released this year.

I don't thing he's too concerned with recording Tool stuff right now.

Have a talk with him then and address this. I have no issues with his other projects, I actually enjoy them as well, but damn, Tool has to come first.
