Poor ZZ Top (river center show friday, june 22)

So ZZ Top is coming to the river center on June 22, and they are no doubt one of the greatest american bands ever. but check out the supporting acts... 
wtf? couldn't they have gotten molly hatchet or rick deringer or something? I hope ZZ and Top are hitting that gretchen wilson chick if you know what i mean

ETA: I have no idea who leroy powell is so I have no qualms with him but the rest of the supporting lineup is just terrible

ouch. I saw ZZ Top at Jazz Fest in '07, and for the encore the bassist fired up a blunt. Was funny.

I will say this....I've seen 3DD live three times. They aren't amazing, but they're better live than you'd expect.

i keep an open mind about live shows more than most people i think, even for douche rock bands
chevelle put on a pretty good show when i saw them and they're about as douche rock as they come
but the 104 the x tickets i won for shinedown and sick puppies or whatever at the uno lakefront arena? not worth the gas money

I saw them about 10 years ago with Ted Nugent opening. That was a pretty nice double bill.
