Went Wednesday night in Dallas & saw it from the floor next to the stage. I am a Pixies fanatic so I am biased towards them. Since this is a co-headlining amphitheater show they are playing more hits but they change the set list up every night. They were amazing as usual. Legends. They are even letting Paz sing Gigantic on this tour. First tour they have played it since Kim left.

I stayed for about half of Weezers set & they were really good. Obviously most of the fans were there for them & it was packed & fun. It wasn't as loud down there on the floor as I expected. Have fun.

Saw them in Nola. The wombats are the opener, and are very good. Huge weezer fan, and they rocked. Played tired of sex

My 3 y/o son soaking in the rock n roll lifestyle. Also got to take him in the pit for the Pixies set for a bit.

Pixies songs that I like are great. Pixies songs that are meh, are very meh to me. But I didn't grow up on the pixies music, so there's that. I listened to Weezer thru high school and college. The set was one I could sing every word to every song. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe it was all the beers and Rivers Cuomo singing a few songs 10' from us after riding a scooter through our isle. But it was fun.

We skipped the wombats
We were lower level stage right, in front of the big screen to your right

Pixies were really good, Black Francis was sweating his balls off and looked kind of worn out
Paz and Santiago were great
Pixies played 25 songs

Weezer was tight, fun show, they always do a great job live. I love Scott Shriner’s bass work. Cuomo was clearly enjoying himself, rode his razor about five feet from me, really enjoyed his cover of wonder wall

As in razor scooter? Somewhere Spike Jonze is shaking his head in disappointment.

Was like a motorized scooter. Didn't really get what it was about. Made us hold our son so he didn't run over him, Haha. We get to see all the shows there, but get some upgrades sometimes. We got lucky for that little segment.

I'll be at Outlaw Fest tomorrow at the pavilion. Tried to score front row seats through a contest to no avail so I'll be slumming it in the lawn.

For Weezer over the Pixies?

That's like Led Zepplin getting back together, playing a show with 3 Doors Down and having everyone show up for the other band.

The Pixies are a million times more influential to music and culture than Weezer.

I mean it's obvious that the Pixies are more artistic, influential, etc.. But their music just isn't as commercially successful as Weezer. So the Zepplin comparison is just wayyyyy off. I would never expect them to headline that show.

I was surprised though. There were definitely a few people there to see the Pixies who left for Weezer. But there were some groups of people who I would have totally thought were only there to see the Pixies play....super artsy, emo-types, who were seriously get into them while they played. I thought for sure they'd leave or calm down for Weezer, but then they were just as into that or more.

Weezer covering wonderwall was one of the whitest things I’ve been around in a long time
