quote:

Pink Floyd guitarist and singer David Gilmour told The Guardian of the effort, “It’s really a difficult and frustrating thing to see this extraordinarily crazy, unjust attack by a major power on an independent, peaceful, democratic nation.”

“The frustration of seeing that and thinking ‘what the f–k can I do?’ is sort of unbearable,” Gilmour, who has a Ukrainian daughter-in-law and grandchildren, said.

The English performer said that he phoned his bandmates, who agreed to get on board with the effort.

Is Waters in as well?

I believe he and Gilmour still dislike each other.

good question

It might be political enough to interest him.

Looks like it's just Gilmour and Mason.

They can't even agree on an Animals re-issue because of linear notes

I wish it was all of them though

Why don't they just light the money on fire instead.

Or better give it to me.

it's an unmistakable Pink Floyd sound. Cool to hear the Ukranian singer, but slightly disappointed not to hear Gilmour

definitely cool to hear, the vocal is a bit unsettling, could be a good thing.

But hearing that sound is still great, Waters or not, I'll take any new "Pink Floyd" material

It’s a musical crime against nature that those two can’t patch up their differences.

Rick and Syd are dead. It is down to Gimour, Mason and Waters as it is.

I think we're good. They peaked before breaking up, and would just be doing old folks reunion tours.

Bands like the Rolling Stones sullied their career by playing long after being relevant.

It’s not Pink Floyd without Waters. They can call it whatever they want but it’s not.

Would mean more if everyone put aside differences. Especially with the context.

Not like any of those guys are going hungry.

Considering that Waters is Pro-Putin, it makes sense that Gilmour wants nothing to do with him in this context.
