Relix Link

Paul McCartney and his band played a surprise 21 song show in a bar in California last night. Talk about a dream concert.

Damn, that is crazy. I'd kill to go to a show like that. I still can't believe how good he sounds at his age. I saw him 3 years ago and was blown away.

I am obviously a big Beatles fan, and I have always liked George the best, but after seeing Paul in concert I was convinced that he is the coolest mother fricker alive. Casually throwing out stories about hanging with Hendrix

I wish bands and singers would do this more.

Seeing The Black Crows at the Houston HOB was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

I am in no way comparing them to McCartney in a pub. But seeing a performer in that small of a venue. Basically The HOB is like a plain old bar but big. And instead of a shite house band, its the Black Crows! You just walk around the place like any bar, but the band is awesome.

Would be great if bands did this at certain locations. Like Vegas. Do a string of dates at one venue so people could see them and not fight over 1500 tickets.

See Pearl Jam at a bar/theater type venue? Would be awesome.

Imagine Zepplin doing Vegas like Elvis? For 3 or 4 months. Just performing 3-4 nights a week. In a 12,000 seat venue? I don't know what I would pay, but it would be substantial?

I was fortunate to have tickets to Pauls last concert in NO that allowed about 100 people in early for sound check. Paul and his band played for an hour( all songs not played at concert later). Man that was way cool.

Let me guess. You only like him because MSM tells you like him. And how amazing his so called music is. Without Lennon and Harrison there would be no McCarthy. McCarthy is an over hype piece shite old dude that thinks he can still make/play music.

Let me guess. You are a little hipster punk who thinks he knows something about music. Mccartney was not my favorite in the band but he was very talented. Dont wish for someone to die man. Not cool.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Shouldn't this have "- Mark Twain" or are you the type that reads a quote and trys to pawn it off as your own thought.

Better than someone who acts like they don't know how to spell McCartney.

Chief, pray tell, what music you consider top notch.

Anyway, I do agree, the McCartney love on this site is over the top.

Proverbs of Solomon 17:28 Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: and he that shuts his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

Wrong again wise one. Often attributed to Lincoln and lessor to Twain. You pick.

The message is not from whence it came, but rather that you are a fool.

I never made a claim of authorship.
