This isn't really a surprise. He should just stop.

I got tickets mainly to see Manson. No word on what he's going to do. Still waiting for him to drop his new album, too, and his bass player is probably done after his recent bike accident, so Manson is going to have to replace him. He's another one who only has a few miles left in the tank, but though hit and miss, when he's on, Manson puts on a great show.

Aww man frick!! I sure hope this is more about shoring up the metal rods in his body properly than continued complications from his Parkinsons, but yeah this isn’t good.

I’m not sure how many musicians are still kicking who’s passing is gonna hit me really hard, but I do know that Ozzy is one of them.

What’s up Jax? I was going to the show in St Louis for my annual summer getaway show. Guess I’m going to have to find someone else to see and somewhere else to go.

Interesting. I've never had a cancel before. Without emailing them, Ticketmaster sent me an email saying they are refunding my money and it will be done in 7 to 10 business days. I did get a pair of bus passes, so I don't know if they will refund that as well. It just said for the tickets. That was like 20 bucks, 10 for each one. No biggie if they don't, they're definitely going to refund the ticket money it appears, but wondering because I did buy the bus passes for the St. Louis show through Ticketmaster. I didn't buy the insurance or anything, but they are right on refunding it appears.

They refund your ticket price. Ticketmaster isn't responsible for anything else.

Caught him for the first time at Rockville 2018 and he sounded great with Zakk. It was a bucket list checkoff for sure. Glad I could see him then, but he probably should just stop.

What’s up dude? Yeah that really does suck. Some bad luck right there. He wasn’t coming here to Jacksonville so I was hoping to be working somewhere he was playing so I could see him. Saw him in 2011 but before that not since the 80’s. At least there’s some other good tours out there to choose from.

Regarding the annual summer getaway thing... Good stuff. Post where you’ll be heading once you know.

I travel for extended periods of time for work, and the cities are always different. Well, usually different at least. Total crapshoot regarding how lucky I might be with concerts wherever I wind up heading. Been a great thing overall for sure. I’ve seen a lot of good shows in a lot of different cities that I had no chance to see here in Jax.

I started doing a summer trip because the big shows seem to avoid Nola. House of Blues did open the Fillmore so that helps with the smaller venue shows. I am pumped about Megadeth and Lamb of God coming to UNO. Bought my tickets for that one already.

That’s gonna be a fantastic show. Another one not hitting Jax.

You bastard! I bought front row Hollywood Bowl for October 2018, and that was to be a double bucket lister: Ozzy w/Zakk @ the Bowl.

That got postponed to 2019.

That got postponed to 2020.

And now canceled.

Ozzy has been making the rounds saying he'll be back he just needs to recover. I guess we'll see.

Do you now if Zakk was still to be on this 2020 tour?

Update on refund. They refunded me everything. Repaid the tickets, then 2 days later refunded the passes I bought on two separate occasions, once with the tickets and another a month later, for the bus ride from the casino to the show. This indicates they probably will refund parking passes as well when shows are cancelled.

Probably not the board’s favorite but I really enjoy his new song that dropped last week

Picked up his new album the other day. It's pretty good. If he does reschedule his tour I suppose I'll have to go to a show. Saw him in 89, 92 and 98. Also saw him with the original Black Sabbath lineup.
