Out of curiosity, Plini

Long term lurker, I’d rather read the stupid shite people post. Just curious how many people on here listen to the band Plini. Band from Australia, drummers Troy Wright and Chris Allison are both amazing. I don’t know how much exposure they get, very talented and creative. Sunhead is an incredible listen if you like prog/math metal.

I've got one set of songs, shared by a friend. Great playing.

Doja Cat did a metal version of her song Say So last year where one of Plini's songs was "borrowed" from without permission.

The live show in China is really good. I stumbled upon these guitarists and bands on the internet when listening to Polyphia. A couple of others I like are Animals as Leaders and I Built the Sky (another Australian guitarist)

I first ran across them watching a Rick Beato video on counting complex time signatures. I dig it. Works well for headphones at work when doing things that vocals might interrupt your thoughts.

Like him/them a lot. First heard of them a few years ago mentioned in an interview with one of the members of Ne Obliviscaris (another awesome and progressive metal Australia based band). I couldn't even tell what the band name was so had to do some work to figure it out, and it was worth it.
I have Handmade Cities, very nice work. It's mostly (all?) instrumental so a limited audience right there, unfortunately. Even Allmusic doesn't list all the available work - only Sunhead & HC, there are several other EPs.
