For the rest of your life you can only listen to music from 5 artists/bands/groups. Who do you pick?
Mine:
Van Morrison
Pink Floyd
Mozart
Willie Nelson
Fleetwood Mac
I'm missing out on blues and jazz, but can't come up with a single artist I'd want over the above.

Do people really listen to Pink Floyd? A lot of people pretend to like them to look cool but I never notice anybody actually listening to them.
The Beatles
Oasis
The Smiths
Bruce Springsteen
David Bowie

Bob Dylan

Hard to think of a singular blues artist over those

Considering that 3 of 4 posts above say they would be one of 5 artists they would listen to for the rest of their lives......looks obvious and a stupid question on your part.

Only every day
One of the reasons to pick Floyd would be the diversity in their music. Its a huge library as well.
Plus, its the best band ever
So there's that

Big, not really. That is the reason I asked. Are they saying it to gain credibility on the music board?
I can’t fathom how anybody can listen to floyd. I tried once and never again. They were a band for students.
Another brick in the wall was OK though.

Big, I guess they were popular during the 70s because they had number one albums but nobody really cares about them now.
I have never heard anybody listening to a Pink Floyd album in the last 20 years but everyone claims to love them.

Maybe you just need to hang out with people that have better taste in music.
I'll go with:
Steely Dan
Pink Floyd
Peter Gabriel
Allman Bros.
and since the OP included a classical composer I will too
Bedrich Smetana
