Ok. Low Rider is their only song to get consistent radio play (other than the aforementioned Spill the Wine, which is still a general rarity on FM stations)
I believe "Cisco Kid" also did pretty well for them.

Crash Test Dummies. They had a few songs that were as good or better than "mmm mmm mmm".
The Ghosts that Haunt Me is still one of my favorite albums. Better (IMO) than God Shuffled His Feet and WAY better than Worm's Life. I'll agree that they had a lot of songs better than mmm mmm mmm mmm and it is a mystery why that is their hit.

Crowded House
I know they had Don't Dream It's Over and Something So Strong big in the US but they had some good stuff after their popularity waned. Four Seasons in One Day and Fall At Your Feet are great.

never saw his pic before
listening to "My Maria" I always visualized him as sort of a B.J. Thomas type
And I just looked him up -- didn't know he had died
only 38
shoulda lost weight

He has some great songs that never got big, he died way too soon.

I submitted them the last time this topic was brought up and was shot town... due to their 3-4 charting songs...
I still feel the fit the spirit of the debate... at least in the states.

Johnny Kidd and The Pirates
They had one hit Shakin' all over.

A Shot Of Rhythm And Blues
Ecstasy
I hate getting up in the morning

How about Joe Jackson
Was he really a 1 hit wonder though? Steppin Out and Is She Really Going Out With Him are his 2 big hits.
I am a big fan of his and saw him at the HOB.

I've heard the original (Al Casey on guitar) but never this slowed down version. It reminds me a bit of this
