There is NO ONE in live music that even approaches the mastery of Chris Kuroda.
The light show last night was just phenomenal.

Golden Age and Simple are Hampton MVPs

After listening again....it’s Simple.
At the 10 minute mark, they slowly start to crawl out of the “space” sound, and every minute after, it gradually and consistently picks up pace, until around the 16 minute mark when they all are in a jam groove—-Trey takes flight at the 17 minute mark and kills it for the next 3 minutes before bringing it back home around the 20 minute mark.

That Hampton Simple was so good - all three nights were a blast and that venue is awesome.
Plus a nice little phish troll "There must be something more than this" into the double encore YEM.

DWD is getting a little spacey here...

I live in Nashville and I’m couch touring tonight
1 month old at home and a big week at work.
Getting old fricking blows.
ETA:
But I’m not in love with the set list

I hear ya on that. I had to drive past Ascend on my way home to my very pregnant wife. I just stared at the lighting rig and thought about what could have been.
Agree about the set list. Not the most exciting, but I guess they can't all be the GOAT. I fell asleep halfway through the second set.

That's on par with the versions from Alpahretta/Vegas a few years ago, although not quiet as good imo (good though!)

Ya last night was an off night - second set was a good setlist but they still seemed kind of off.

They didn't seem into it. Had plenty of buddies there and they said the energy was just low.

Sorry, I’ve got laundry to do.
I will miss the combination of body odor and patchouli, though. That’s always a treat at their shows

That night 2 fluffhead was maybe my second favorite highlight. That was my 50th show and i was hoping for a good fluffhead and they definitely brought it.

Just got back from Nashville. Wasn't a great night two but I always look at the positives and enjoyed myself both nights. Highlight of the trip was meeting and having a short conversation with Mike and Trey. Ran into them after the Night 1 show on Broadway getting out of a car. Think they were going into Tootsies. Pretty cool experience

Saw them that night after the show as well. They were hanging out at Roberts. Really cool to see.
