Lost my eyebrows when the pyro went off in Live and Let Die.

Great show. Amazing to get to see such a legend.

"Something" really hit me when they had all the photos of George on the backdrop.

The whole show was outstanding, from beginning to end.

The show was absolutely great, probably the best I have ever seen. Yeah, if he's back within 300 miles of central La, I'm gong Back. Really a damned great show by a very classy musician.

Here is a shot of the pyro from Live and Let Die. Posted on a local radio station's site.

Fantastic show! A bunch of musicians/bands could learn a lot from him about giving people their moneys worth, and not phoning it in. 40 songs, 3 solid hours of music, amazing stage/lighting set up, not playing the exact same show every night, and doing all that at 75 is beyond impressive. Well worth the drive over from Dallas.

There have been a number of big time acts that played that so-called "shithole". The CenturyLink Center is big enough to attract those acts and with it being along the I-20 corridor, it can fill the seats. Ask Elton John, or the Eagles, or Fleetwood Mac, or Paul McCartney..... The place was sold out. That amounts to right at 13,000 fans approximately. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

If you followed McCartney's tour path, the show was moving along the I-20 corridor and Bossier was a good stop. Besides, it beats the shite out of driving to New Orleans and worrying about getting shot. No place is perfectly safe these days, but New Orleans has racked up quite a track record. I used to enjoy going down there, but not these days.

Indeed. I paid the same amount of money three weeks earlier to watch Sheryl Crow. She essentially dialed most of the show in and only played 70 minutes. I won't be watching her again.

As for Sir Paul McCartney, or Elton John ..... those guys know how to put on a show. Anytime they are within driving distance of Alexandria, I'm getting tickets and making the trip. I have been to a lot of concerts over the years. McCartney is now the bar that every show will be judged against. He did the best performance I have ever seen and probably ever will.

The other thing that impressed me with Paul McCartney's show, a lot of bands have a shite pile of back-up musicians backing up the actual band. Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles were two of them.

McCartney put on a hell of a show with great musicianship and only had four band members backing him.

I was there Sat night, it was my first time at Century Link, I have been to most similar sized concert venues in the South East U.S and it was equal to any of them. Lots of concession stands, getting in and out of the parking lots was very fast. Saw McCartney in New Orleans 2014, was also a fantastic show, but now if possible I will attend shows in Bossier before I will resort to going to New Orleans.
