Well for starters the fact that you think Railroad earth is a straight up bluegrass band tells me all I need to know. Many other instances as well.

Sorry I didn't do a full sub-genre breakdown of a band I've never been impressed by.

Anyone who claims to know as much about music as you claim to can hear that they are far far more than a bluegrass band in about 30 seconds.

Anyone who listens to RRE would agree that they are not just a bluegrass band. It isn't a matter of opinion. It is a matter of fact

Oh, and here's a thought.

Instead of thinking about what set we're from, what crew you're rolling with...

...why can't we just be brothers? What do you say?

I wouldn't doubt it. I will probably check the first half then head over to the other stage to get a good spot for the next band

I'd much rather railroad earth than TAB. But either will be better than weir/ratdog for me personally

music taste is factual? intredasting

2. blue·grass
'blo?o?gras/
nouna kind of country music influenced by jazz and blues and characterized by virtuosic playing of banjos and guitars and high-pitched, close-harmony vocals.

RRE fits the description

Why do you keep bringing up taste? I'm talking about their playing style.

Normally I would agree, but you add in the Kimock factor into Ratdog and it's a while different ballgame. RRE is one of my favorite bands to see live now tho. The vibe they put out is amazing.

OMG are you really this dense? There is no need to argue with people like this. If they can't hear the difference between railroad earth and traditional blue grass string bands I don't know what to tell them. Do bluegrass bands have electric guitar, electric bass, and brass instruments?
