Obviously some of the head liners are meh, but this is a really deep lineup. Dead and Co, Tedeschi Trucks, Gary Clark Jr., Marcus King, Robert Plant/Alison Krauss are all on my radar. Should be a great year. Cant forget about Herbie

Cool but not great with no Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, or QOTSA some people were hoping for. Likely will still go some days for D&C and maybe Robert Plant, Santana. Marcus King, Kingfish

Awful slate of performers. After the fourth row you can basically go see every act playing on a weeknight in New Orleans.

Not a single name on that list that would make me want to go.

Wouldn't call it awful, but it is more locals heavy than its been in the recent past. But, look at the sponsors and that will tell you why. They lost a big corporate sponsor and didn't replace it. My guess is they have a lot less $ to toss around this year. Looks like a rich man's French Quarter Fest.

So much for those Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters rumors

So a giant festival full of local talent and great food plus a few solid headliners.

Oh the horror!

It’s a solid lineup and there’s still time to add a giant headliner pull but honestly I’m not upset at all with a local heavy Jazzfest.

That won't get released for a few more weeks. All they have now is a breakdown by weekend. Its at nojazzfest.com.

Oh ok. Guess its time to shutdown all other festivals. We're only allowed one in New Orleans. And FQF and Jazzfest have absolutely no differences. Thanks.

While I am not a fan of the headliners, still a lot of solid local acts per usual. Will have to be there for Thursday at least.

So you can see Robert Randolph, Low Cut Connie, Continental Drifters, Marcus King, Los Lobos, Durand Jones, Charlie Musselwhite on any weeknight in New Orleans.

No but if you have little interest in the headliners, spending whatever a GA ticket costs for local acts is not worth the trouble for me, sorry.

Honestly I was only going to go for the Foo Fighters so maybe I'm just bummed because it seemed they were almost a definite.

Not bad. Replace Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, and Jazmine Sullivan and you could have a real nice lineup.

Lizzo is going to PACK that stage. She is a huge draw right now. Practically has her own gravitational pull

If you’ve never seen Ed Sheeran perform live, I recommend you give him a shot. He’s famous for good reason. It’s just one man, a guitar, and a pedal board with a looper, and he can absolutely control a 60k+ crowd with just that. No band, no backing tracks. It’s really impressive.
