I'm really tired of Maynard Keenan's bullshite. They prevent their own fans of from buying music because they'd rather "give them the full audio and visual experience by purchasing the hard copy."
I love their music but frick Tool. frick their self righteous bullshite. frick their songs in 34/11 time signatures. And frick their wannabe occult thematic approach to music. It's like they wanna be the love child of Dream Theater and black sabbath.

When Radiohead's Hail to the Thief got leaked prior to it being finalized, their guitarist, Jonny Greenwood, said they weren't bothered by the fact that eople got the music for free. They were just slightly embarassed that everyone was listening to a rough and unfinished product. I loved what I had downloaded, but when the album eventually got out, I could kind of see his point. A lot of fine tuning had yet to be done.
