If you think the guitar sound on this album sounds like a “broken amp” you don’t know dick about guitar/tone little buddy.

I finally got to listen to the whole album. I have one comment...

Sturgill dont make Tyler Childers go this direction also.

I kid but this album is surely something. I cant tell if it's something I like or something I hate, but it is something for sure. I will watch the cartoon and see what happens.

I really like Sturgills past vocals, to bad you cant hear most of the ones on this album.

Who cares, man. Does music have to fit into a "genre" in order for you to like it? I like good music. This is good music.

I find it very interesting that he titled the album "Sound and Fury." Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury is regarded as one of the most groundbreaking, abstract, and difficult to understand pieces of literature of all time; it is also regarded one of the greatest novels of the 20th Century.

does anyone have a link to a good writeup about the film? having trouble finding one. i want to better understand exactly wtf happens. seems like it's a daughter seeking revenge for the death of her parents and the village?

No, I just was genuinely curious.

abstract

which is exactly what this album is and I think the people who are upset about it are the ones going into it with expectations of it being metamodern sounds in country music part 2. which it was never advertised to be.

It seems like it’s all not chronological. The last song is the middle and climax of the battle and make art not friends is also confusing.

just as a reminder, this was your comment:

This could possibly be good music, but I would not know because none of it is the type of music I like, at all. And I really tried. What genre is this shite?
