just as a reminder, this was your comment:

This could possibly be good music, but I would not know because none of it is the type of music I like, at all. And I really tried. What genre is this shite?

Yes, yes it is.

Very polarizing album. It has good moments, some of the guitar solos are fantastic. In the end it sounds to me like an artist who is bored with playing his same old songs and who is trying to reinvent himself. Respect to that, but to call this a masterpiece is laughable.

Sturgill himself said he doesn’t want to be a karaoke machine. He’s an artist he wants to explore new ideas and do different things.

No real musician wants to make the same record over and over again

So he made his lyrics inaudible by singing into a bucket instead of a microphone. Dude is genius.

He’s the same dipshit that thinks the guitar is being played through a broken amp

Haven't listened to him on Rogan yet or seen anything about it, but is he still sticking to the "just doing 5 albums" thing?

Hope not because if so we only have 1 more.

I don't know what he used in the studio but I know sturgill live plays a bad arse hiwatt 20 amp. Those are some of the best sounding amps that i've heard.

yeah I don't see him sticking to that at all. I think he wants to keep going in different directions. but you can rule out a hip hop album he said so everyone can rejoice

The Musical geniuses like LSUBalls will be here shortly to enlighten us on which broken amp he used in the studio. And the kind of bucket he sang into

No, he didn't mention that at all. He talked a lot about how they record and when they decide to record again after a release.

Over 2 years according to the podcast.

Do we know if he’s going to even fully tour this album? The end of the anime said stay tuned so I’m assuming he may put out the 5th by early next year.
